Daily Essentials Days

$50 Will Help Restore Dignity to Someone’s Life

Taking a shower. Brushing our teeth. Eating every day. Most of us consider these things essential parts of our lives - and they are. But for many people – homeless men, women and children – these activities can be few and far between. We want to change that, and we need your help.

Our Daily Essentials Days will provide access to mobile showers, restrooms, shaves, haircuts, nail clipping, as well as food and clothing to homeless families and singles. Through your generosity, we will be able to rent a mobile trailer with 3 fully equipped, private shower units with restrooms that can serve up to 75 people a day. Haircuts and other personal services will be provided by volunteers who are professional and licensed.

Your donation will also contribute to our Daily Essentials Kits, portable backpacks filled with daily essential items, such as toothbrushes and toothpaste, combs and brushes, clothing and personal hygiene items to meet the needs of people of all ages.

Your tax-deductible gift of $50 can stretch farther than you might think – especially because our community partners have already agreed to provide on-site meals as well as food that our patrons can take with them.

The Daily Essentials Days will be hosted by our partner, Friendly Church of God in Christ. Our vision is hold these events up to four times a year.

Daily Essential Days for the Homeless

We are currently raising money for our Daily Essentials Days campaign. The goal of the Daily Essentials Days is to provide access to personal services for homeless men, women and children and, thereby, help restore a sense of dignity and hope that can improve their outlook and put them on a better path.
